Fundraising For Alverstoke Parish Centre
We Need Your Help!
After years developing a new community heart to Alverstoke Village and then the lockdown, the number of volunteers on the Regeneration Committee and helping at our fundraising events are much depleted. This time we are not so much asking for your money but something more valuable – YOUR TIME!
We know this is a big ask! We need help to keep going as the task before us – not just to raise the sums of money necessary, but also to demonstrate the sort of commitment to the development that will convince grant givers our project is not just viable but essential. The New Centre will offer us all so much more in terms of space, quality of facilities and proposes to meet the needs of the community into the next century. Please help to achieve this vision.
- We need hands and feet to help with coffee mornings and fundraising events; to bake cake and to man stalls; to deliver leaflets and to update information.
- We need practical help on several committees; minute taking, record keeping and filing, but also updating documents relating to and compiling information on the project.
- If you could offer any special skills or experience or in Marketing; Design, Fundraising or project management you would be most welcome.
- If you would like experience of working on a long term Community Project for your CV, you would also be very welcome.
