Launch of Stage 2 Fundraising
After raising funds to cover the costs of professional and technical fees, Andy Norris formally launched the start of the second stage of fundraising – The Capital Grant Fund – which will raise the money to build the new Centre. A sub–group of the Project Team will work with Sonia Rasbery, a Fundraising Consultant, to make applications to Funders who support capital projects such as ours. Sonia will ensure that we have all the documentation and information needed to apply, and help draft the applications so that we make the best possible case to persuade Funders to make grants for the construction phase.
The Project Owner, Andy Norris, welcomed our MP, Caroline Dinenage and the Mayor, Councillor Mark Hook, to formally launch the start of the Capital fundraising effort, and presented the audience with an artist's impression of what our vision will actually look like when built.
